Ever since Matthew Palentchar began the practice of law in Florida well over a decade ago, he has specialized in real estate law, although he also has significant experience in corporate transactions, probate, simple estate planning, and small business law, and he can practice in any of them. After earning his law degree in 2004, he moved to Florida and passed the bar exam. Working at a general practice firm in Naples, Florida didn’t interest him, so he formed Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A. in 2005. Unfortunately, in 2010, a life threatening illness forced him to leave Florida for a time.

Thankfully, Matt Palentchar soon recovered and he returned to Florida, where he established Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg. His current firm features a specific focus on real estate transactions and property law, which means he represents lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions. However, he also works on more common real estate work, such as title searches, title exams, and issuing title insurance for residential and commercial closings. When he isn’t representing clients, Matt likes to volunteer for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children.

Matt Palentchar has been practicing law in Florida since 2004, when he passed that state’s bar exam. In the years since, he has practiced law in a wide variety of areas, although he seems to appreciate real estate law the most. His current law practice specializes in real estate, corporate transactions, probate, simple estate planning, and small business law. You can say much has happened since Matt was growing up in Colonia, NJ, mostly playing sports with his friends. He got an education; after high school, he earned a B.A. in political science from Rutgers-New Brunswick and took advantage of a scholarship he won to attend Ohio Northern University Law School and earn a law degree.

Soon after he received his J.D., Matt Palentchar went to Florida for the warm weather and to begin a law career. As soon as he passed the Florida Bar, he caught on with a general practice law firm in Naples. However, he tired of the law firm grind quickly and, in 2005, he went off to form Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., which he ran until 2010. After surviving a life-threatening illness, he then formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, which is where he now lives with his wife Heather and their two dogs.
